Border Grill

Welcome to the vibrant, modern Mexican restaurant overlooking the Lazy River just off Mandalay Beach, where Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales," want nothing more than to spice up your day. With two floors of patio dining, this hip, urban cantina is the perfect setting for sipping margaritas and savoring a menu of the bold flavors of Mexico while enjoying views of the beach and pool.

About our Chef:

Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger

Two of America's most beloved chefs, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger have been business partners for over 20 years. Trailblazers from the start, these classically trained culinary grads (Susan from The Culinary Institute of America and Mary Sue from Washburne Culinary Institute) met in 1978 at Le Perroquet, one of Chicago's best French restaurants. They were the first women to break into the all-male kitchen. Natural teachers, the partners are authors of five cookbooks, as well as Food Network, Top Chef and radio veterans. Mary Sue and Susan are also actively involved in many culinary associations and charities, most notably Share Our Strength and Women Chefs and Restaurateurs.

Yelp Review

I pretty much deem Border Grill the best Mexican restaurant in Vegas. Open for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Food is always great. And service is always exceptional. I have never had even a slightly so-so experience at Border Grill. Everything has always been fantastic here. And that's over the course of a few years

3 years after I first found this place I came back with my wife, and this place is still going strong. Good food, moderate prices, excellent service. If they have seating available on their patio and the weather is cooperating, do it.

I must admit to being a total food show geek so always take the opportunity to go to restaurants featured on one of them. I saw these two ladies on Top Chef Masters and again on Chef Wanted so when looking for a Mexican place to eat in Las Vegas we jumped at the chance. Needless to say by my five stars we were not disappointed. First let me say if you like tequila, the bar has almost every kind imaginable...
