Born in Cairo, acclaimed chef Michael Mina has had a love affair with the kitchen from a very early age. But Mina's epicurean journey truly began in 1987 at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. During those 18 months of formal schooling, he spent his weekends sharpening his talents at Charlie Palmer's Aureole. Mina continued to dazzle the culinary world with bold dining concepts that have contributed to San Francisco's reputation as a world-class epicurean destination, and has been an integral part of the now esteemed Las Vegas dining scene. Mina's vision led to the founding of the Mina Group, with partner Andre Agassi, in 2002. Under the Mina Group, he has opened numerous concept restaurants and creative enterprises. Mina regularly appears in such national media as Bon Appétit, Newsweek, Robb Report and the Food Network. He has been a featured guest chef at the James Beard House, cooked for First Lady Laura Bush, and has been a guest speaker at culinary institutes throughout the world.
This was by far the best steak dinner I have ever had. And the truffle sauce with the fries just makes my mouth water and want more! I can't wait to go back!
I go to StripSteak every time I go to Vegas. The food and service has always been exceptional, everything is prepared to perfection there. It's one of my favorite restaurants and I will definitely be back!
LOVE this place! My personal favorite from the long list of Michael Mina restaurants. A colleague and I decided to try this spot out during restaurant week. It was amazing. We started with the truffle duck fat fries...YUMMY we also shared a side of truffle mac n cheese with our menu item.
