Mandalay Bay’s 'Exotic Escape Weekend Sweepstakes' | February 15, 2009-April 30, 2009

Participation in Mandalay Bay’s “Exotic Escape Weekend Sweepstakes” ("sweepstakes") constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The sweepstakes will begin at 12:01 am Pacific Time February 15, 2009 and end at 11:59 pm Pacific Time on April 30, 2009. The sweepstakes consists of one (1) drawing as detailed below. "Mandalay Bay’s “Exotic Escape Weekend Sweepstakes” is sponsored by Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, located at 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119 (“Sponsor”). 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Except where prohibited by law, the sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, (except New York, Rhode Island, Colorado, and Florida), the District of Columbia and Canada (except Quebec Province) who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry and prior to January 1, 2007 had a valid email address. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. No written notices have been distributed, and the only official notice of the sweepstakes is on this website (http://www.mandalaybay.com).

2. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning at 12:01 am Pacific Time February 15, 2009 you may enter the sweepstakes by visiting the sweepstakes website at http://www.mandalaybay.com/ExoticEscapeSweeps and completing the "Enter to Win “Exotic Escape Weekend Sweepstakes" entry form. You must provide your name, date of birth, a physical mailing address and valid email address and telephone number for the submission to be valid. You can also enter by sending a 3”x5” card containing your name, date of birth, telephone number, physical mailing address and (if applicable) email address to Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino (Attention Hotel Marketing), 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119. Entries eligible for the drawing must be received by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on April 30, 2009. One (1) first prize winner will be drawn on May 5, 2009 as detailed below. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who submitted a user profile, the entry will be deemed submitted by the registered holder of the email account included with the entry. Entrants are limited to one (1) entry in the sweepstakes, regardless of how many email or home addresses he or she may possess. Entrants using multiple entry programs will be disqualified from the sweepstakes. Illegal access to Mandalay Bay computers, websites and/or web pages will result in disqualification from the sweepstakes.

3. THE PRIZE AND ESTIMATED VALUE OF THE PRIZE A total of one (1) PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES: One (1) first prize consists of a “Exotic Escape Weekend Experience” and includes: Three (3) nights stay in a fabulous THEhotel suite, Complimentary use of a Cabana for a day, Two (2) complimentary passes to Mix Lounge, two (2) tickets to a participating show at Mandalay Bay, Two (2) complimentary Spa passes with a $300 Spa Treatment credit, roundtrip coach air fare for two (2) from the major US or Canadian gateway city airport closest to the winner’s home to Las Vegas, NV, Limo Service to and from the airport in Las Vegas and a $300 Gift Card to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, $50 beverage credit to EyeCandy Sound Lounge, weekend access for two (2) to the private House of Blues Foundation Room. Total approximate retail value of the first prize is USD $4,950, (CAD $5,472.22). Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or cash alternatives for the prize are allowed. Any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes on prize and incidental expenses, including but not limited to transportation, gratuities, meals, excursions and long distance phone charges, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The first prize expires December 30, 2009, at which time all use of such prize must be completed. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. There is no limit to the number of people who will be allowed to enter the sweepstakes.

4. THE WINNER: One (1) first prize winner will be selected in a random drawing among all eligible sweepstakes entrants and will be contacted by phone, mail and/or email within approximately ten (10) business days following the drawing. The drawing will be conducted by a computer generated random selection process among eligible entrants and will be overseen by Sponsor’s representatives. The decisions made by Sponsor with respect to the winner and other matters pertaining to the sweepstakes shall be final. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor. A United States winner will be required to complete, notarize and return an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and publicity within ten (10) days of issuance of prize notification or an alternate winner may be selected. A Canadian winner will be required to complete and return a Declaration and Release form within this same ten (10) day time limit. Winner’s travel companion will also be required to execute and return Release of Liability form within this same ten (10) day time limit. If the winner cannot be reached by phone, mail and/or email after a reasonable effort has been exerted during ten (10) business days from the sweepstakes' administrator’s first attempt, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, or if the winner cannot or does not comply with the Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. By acceptance of the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online and offline announcements, without additional compensation or limitation, except where prohibited by law. By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Mandalay Bay, which are final in all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these rules will result in disqualification. A Canadian winner will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a timed mathematical skill-testing question administered by phone or email.

5. INELIGIBLE FOR THE SWEEPSTAKES: Sweepstakes is void in Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Colorado, Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, Province of Quebec overseas military installations and where prohibited by law. Employees of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM MIRAGE and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses and household members) and those involved in creating, advertising, development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of the sweepstakes and their directors, officers and agents or any other persons or entities directly associated with the sweepstakes are ineligible to enter the sweepstakes. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.

6. CHANGE OF ADDRESS POLICY: It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino of a change in his/her phone numbers, and/or email address by emailing sweepstakes@mandalaybay.com of such change during the applicable sweepstakes period.

7. DISCLAIMERS: All participants and/or entrants release Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM MIRAGE and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates and their agents, employees, officers, directors and shareholders from and against all liability, claims and damages arising in connection with entrant's participation or inability to participate, entry in the sweepstakes and/or acceptance, receipt, ownership or use of the prize or parts thereof awarded in the sweepstakes as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM MIRAGE and the person or entities involved with providing an entrant internet access and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies and agents are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or garbled entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, viruses, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, network failures, computer equipment failure, software errors, or any combination thereof, internet failures, inability to access the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino website stated above, printing or other errors or late, lost, stolen, misdirected, mutilated or incomplete entries or postage due mail. Mandalay Bay reserves the right to terminate this sweepstakes for any or no reason and at any time without further notice.

8. APPLICABLE LAWS: The laws of the State of Nevada and the United States of America apply to and govern this sweepstakes, and any claims or actions in connection herewith must be brought in Clark County, Nevada. Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the sweepstakes at any time for any or no reason. If such action is taken, notice will be posted at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino website stated above.

9. WINNERS LIST: The name of the winners will be available on/about May 15, 2009 and can be obtained by calling 1-877-632-7800 or by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope to Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino (Attention Hotel Marketing), "Mandalay Bay’s “Exotic Escape Weekend Sweepstakes” Winners List, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119.
