A WALK THROUGH MANDALAY BAY

7/13/2010
AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Mandalay Bay is a lush, tropical resort. As guests enter from the Las Vegas Strip, intricately carved stone statues silently welcome them to the Valley of the Waterfalls where spectacular fire pots, cascading waterfalls, mythical architecture and verdant landscaping set the stage for discoveries of exotic treasures yet to come.

Throughout the 60-acre property, thousands of palm trees create the sense of a sheltering oasis. The feeling of a vibrant paradise continues in the hotel’s registration lobby where visitors find a 14-foot-high, salt-water aquarium reminiscent of the beautiful coral reefs of the South Pacific. The impressive 12,200-gallon exhibit is filled with dozens of aquatic species including a variety of colorful Angelfish.

From waves on a real sand beach to tower-climbing ‘wine angels,’ countless exotic luxuries await guests of Mandalay Bay. From the uninhibited to the unconventional, the resort offers some of the most tantalizing experiences on the planet — all without the expense of an around-the-world trip.

For those wishing a slightly more sedate and quiet sanctuary, steps away from the excitement of Mandalay Bay THEhotel offers a boutique-style, all-suite resort with a separate entrance, check in, restaurants and spa.

Additionally, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts manages 424 accommodations located on the 35th through 39th floors of the Mandalay Bay tower with a separate entrance, lobby, check in and hotel services, including two restaurants, a spa and private pool.
