Redesigned Guests Rooms Combine Modern Comforts with Chic Sophistication

LAS VEGAS – The new room designs of Mandalay Bay set a new standard in accommodations. A $150 million redesign redefines the typical Las Vegas hotel experience by adding luxurious amenities, high-tech comforts and plush, vibrant décors for all to enjoy.
The stresses of the day begin to slip away as soon as visitors cross the threshold. A relaxing palette of earth tones and dark woods evoke instant feelings of being invited inside each of five accommodation choices – Deluxe, Spa, Great Room, eXtra Bedroom or Sky View.
Combining understated elegance with modern-day conveniences, each room type assures a perfect night’s rest with pillow-top mattresses and plush down comforters. Ranging in size from 550 to 1,500 square feet, guests also will discover floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious tubs, separate glass-enclosed showers, twin vanities, fully stocked minibars and two flat-screen televisions – a 42-inch plasma in the bedroom and a 15-inch LCD in each bathroom. More standard amenities include wireless high-speed Internet access, cordless phones with dual lines, iHome clock radios for iPods, in-room safes and his-and-her closets. Relaxing, multi-jet spa tubs also can be found in every suite.
At 550 square feet, the Deluxe Room is as refined as it is comfortable. Vibrant hues of orange and teal intermix with neutral shades of cream and tan to create a tranquil environment while generous-size bathrooms, rich in granite and marble accents, invite guests to further unwind. Each deluxe accommodation also features a unique living/office area complete with glass-topped desk and relaxing modular seating for four.
Mandalay Bay’s Spa Suite offers guests 600 square feet of space. Decorated in creamy tans and deep chocolates with eye-catching accents of lime, the Spa Suite provides an extended living/office area complete with a uniquely styled “playpen” couch allowing face-to-face seating.
With a décor inspired by the beauty of Africa’s savannahs, the 750-square-foot Great Room Suite features a brightly colored palette reminiscent of the sun. Deep yellows and oranges are paired with cherry wood furnishings to create a light and airy atmosphere. Here, too, guests will enjoy extended living and office space.
The eXtra Bedroom Suite is ideal for a small gathering of family or friends. The vibrant colors of the sea can be found throughout this expansive 1,500-square-foot suite capable of accommodating up to six. Accented with vivid shades of blues, pale creams and deep browns, the eXtra Bedroom Suite offers two bedrooms, each with a separate, private bath. Guests also will find an inviting living/dining area with wet bar and comfortable parlor seating for seven.
Located on the top three floors of Mandalay Bay, accessible via key-card only, the Sky View Suite showcases the ultimate in polished luxury and modern charm. Each 1,050-square-foot, one-bedroom suite affords spectacular views of Las Vegas. A separate living area can seat up to five and a nearby powder room allows for added guest convenience.
Visitors who choose to venture beyond their private sanctuaries will find it easy to fulfill their every desire. From two luxurious spas to exciting entertainment ranging from burlesque to Broadway, Mandalay Bay offers something for everyone.
